Over 100 people from within the NHS, healthcare, and private sector came together last night (Wednesday 11 November) to celebrate the North West NHS innovation Awards at Manchester Art Gallery.

The awards, organised by TrusTECH, the North West NHS Innovation Hub, were a huge success and showcased the very best of the regions healthcare innovations.
Richard Deed, Innovation Unit Manager of TrusTECH stated “The North West region has some of the UK’s best NHS innovators and these awards recognise and reward the NHS staff in the North West that are producing innovations that ultimately benefit North West patients.”

North West NHS Innovation Awards 2009 - Launch Date 19 May

The 2009 North West NHS Innovation Awards competition will be launched on 19 May 2009 at 12:00 midday. Managed by TrusTECH, the North West NHS Innovation Hub, the awards provide the opportunity to win up to £1000 and receive advice from specialist NHS Innovation Managers at TrusTECH.

Now in its seventh year the North West NHS Innovation Awards is the only scheme dedicated to rewarding North West NHS innovators. Previous year´s awards have highlighted the vast amount of innovations that are taking place and being developed in NHS Trusts across the North West. It really does show that our region is at the forefront of NHS innovation and we hope this continues.
